Anthony (Tony) Noblett CISSP, CISA, CGEIT

Tony has spent the last eight years consulting with enterprises on IT Security Compliance process, and compliance to GLBA, HIPAA, PCI, and Sarbanes-Oxley. He focuses on the business of IT security and improvement of both business process using ITIL and technology to ensure security and compliance. This experience in assessment of IT security and compliance has led to development of business process solutions for security, policy development for security, security road mapping, and global regulatory compliance. Tony is the author of several Microsoft Solution Accelerators for security and compliance, and contributed to the development of the Microsoft Operations Framework. Tony has over twenty years experience with professional services, process engineering, engineering management, technology marketing, and technical consulting with Alcoa, Boeing, Martin Marietta, Honeywell, Maxoptics, IBM, CH2M Hill, and Coors.

In addition, he has worked with start-ups and early-stage companies; Mountain Optech, Irvine Sensors, TechSearch International, Farragut Systems, Coalfire Systems and Manakoa Services Corp. He has extensive experience in systems integration with Microsoft products including SharePoint Products and Technologies, System Center, and Office integration. He has developed solutions for security compliance based on the Microsoft System Center family of products. Tony holds degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, MBA from Seattle University, and a MS in IT from Regis University as well as the CISSP, CISA and CGEIT certifications.

Catherine Read MBA, CISA

Cathe has been a manufacturing consultant, financial accounting analyst, and corporate and divisional controller for the past 20 years. She has worked with operations, purchasing, engineering and manufacturing organizations within large and mid sized organizations. Cathe has been the corporate controller of such diverse businesses as anti-spyware software, mining, speech recognition software, non-profit, and a B2C managed services provider. Cathe held positions with Honeywell, Hewlett Packard, Burlington Northern, Denver Public Schools, Access Graphics, Syvox, Equire, Rapid Process Manufacturing, and Webroot. Her financial, analytical and computing skills allow her to quickly understand and react to customer needs. She is extremely experienced in transitioning companies to Accounting, ERP and MRP computing packages including both Oracle Financials and SAP, and forensic accounting required for regulatory compliance. Ms. Read holds a BS in Biology from William and Mary, a MF in Forestry and a MBA in Operations Management from Duke University. She also holds the CISA certification from ISACA.

Nathan (Nate) Jones CISSP

Expert in software vulnerability and response systems, Nate has been a key vendor to the Microsoft Security Response Center for several years. He is an experienced SharePoint developer, CISSP, and regulatory compliance subject expert. He has designed, developed, and implemented information serving portal providing service in regulatory compliance. Optimized and documented processes for response to security incidents for large software company. Used FrontPage 2003, Visual Studio 2003 (C#/ASP.Net) and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX to customize and develop custom web parts for both SharePoint Portal and Windows SharePoint Services. Intimate working knowledge of multiple international standards including ISO17799, NIST SP800 series, and COSO. Nate has also worked extensively with multiple federal information security mandates including Sarbanes Oxley, GLBA, HIPAA, and FISMA. Nate holds a BS in Geological Engineering, and a MS in Engineering & Technology Management, both from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden Colorado.

Rob Oikawa, M.D.

Rob Oikawa focuses on information privacy, information security strategy, security risk management, intellectual property protection and software and information technology system engineering best practices. Rob was Senior Architect at MSNBC, focusing on software architecture, information security, software engineering best practices, innovation and intellectual property management. Prior to joining MSNBC, he was Solution Architect with the Microsoft Solutions for Security team responsible for production and release of definitive Microsoft technical security guidance for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Wireless Networking, Anti-virus, Patch Management and Identity Management, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Microsoft Security Content Review Board. During 8 years with the Microsoft Corporation, Rob served in a broad range of positions with Microsoft Consulting Services, the Microsoft Solution Framework team in the Windows Division, and helped to launch the Microsoft Consulting Services Healthcare group in 1999 where he served as Principal Consultant and built the field team delivering the first release of the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA (2001).

Before joining Microsoft, he founded Columbia MedInformatics, LLP, a healthcare consulting and software development company providing products and services for clinical automation and network integration.
He holds the degree of Doctor of Medicine (1979) and Master of Arts in History of Medicine (1981) from the Johns Hopkins University where he completed residency and fellowships in Internal Medicine (1983), Biomedical Engineering (1985) and Cardiology (1988). He holds Board Certifications in Internal Medicine (1983) and Cardiovascular Diseases (1988) and was a practicing interventional cardiologist before returning full-time to software engineering and information technology in 1992. He is a registered US Patent Agent.

Tahir Nasir MCP

Tahir is a Microsoft Certified Professional with over ten years experience in IT and a specialty in Internet / Web software. He a specialist in the implementation and development of SharePoint Server 2007, with up to the minute experience in these applications., having just completed a multi-year engagement for Microsoft developing custom sites and web parts on both SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and SharePoint Server 2007. He has worked in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. In addition to his Microsoft experience, he has worked on SharePoint customization and deployment for transportation and infrastructure industries, for the pharmaceutical industry on contract to Pfizer, for the Canadian Bankers Association, Midas Safety Inc., and the law firm of Blakes Cassels & Graydon LLP. Previous to his SharePoint experience Tahir worked in the ecommerce arena completing projects for Chapters Online, Management Board Secretariat, Mellon Bank, Excite Japan, and Sears Canada. He is certified in C# and .Net and has a high proficiency in ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, VB.NET, Web Services, .NET Reporting, XML, XSL, XSLT, and SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, Transact-SQL, LDAP, DDL, Transactional Stored Procedures. Previous experience with ASP, HTML, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, WML, CGI, Perl, PHP, Applets, Flash and web servers Microsoft IIS, WebSphere, WebLogic, JRun, Tomcat, Apache, and Lotus Domino Go enables him to understand the underpinnings of all recent web technologies and tools. He has a AA in Computer Systems Engineering and is a MCP in Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual C# .NET and Visual Studio .NET, Designing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework, and Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition.

Kenneth Noblett, RRT CPFT CPHIMS

Ken has 24 years experience in the acute-care hospitals. His work as a Respiratory Therapist has taken him from the ICU to Helicopter transports and everywhere in-between. For 10 years he has served as a clinical educator for two hospitals in the Midwest. For the past 4 years Ken is the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services in a community hospital where he is responsible for the Cardiology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Therapy divisions. He is the Director of Clinical Systems in addition to those duties. He has served on CIS vendor selection teams, directed the build and implementation of Clinical Information Systems using several different vendors. He has been involved in the beta implementation of life-support equipment interfacing to Clinical Information Systems for Respiratory Therapy and Nursing. Ken has authored several articles in the field of Respiratory Therapy and Emergency Medicine. He has a BS degree in Healthcare Administration and is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist. In addition to his healthcare degree, Ken also holds a MA in Theology which he uses in his teaching and writing on complex subjects. Ken is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems which he received in 2007.

Reed Ford CISSP, CISA

Reed Ford has developed the architecture for designing and deploying innovative web solutions and platform architectures. In this regard, he matches client requirements to targeted solutions and also develops and recommends the technical objectives and plans for achieving the Company’s business plan. He manages and trains the technical personnel to ensure timely delivery of products to the Company’s clients. Some of Reed’s major projects include: www.BargainComputerBooks.com, an e-commerce web site originally developed under Microsoft’s Merchant Server and upgraded to Commerce Sever; www.tock.com, an internal website to manage and report on the entire US West Y2K program; interfacing the Compaq Reliable Transaction Router to a Microsoft n-tier web architecture resulting in distributed data replication, and the design and implementation of the server and storage architectures for Nupremis, an Application and Managed Services Provider.

Reed has over 25 years of experience in the management of software development and software development, as well as founding several companies . Reed held positions with Digital Equipment Corporation and several technology start-up companies, including: founder and Chairman of Ford/Higgins, Ltd, a variable architecture workstation manufacturing and marketing company; Vice President and General Manager of Century Data Incorporated in charge of the division responsible for the company’s disk drive products; and founder and CEO of Divide Drives, a manufacturer of disk drive compatibility interfaces. Reed obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Colorado.
